Making A Difference : An Invitation to APC Book Club
I'm sure that at some point in your life, you have read a book, likely multiple books. Whether it was your favorite childhood story or that new read everyone at work is talking about, reading books has become a part of life for many people. Perhaps not on an everyday basis, but it is a pass time that many of us enjoy.
Did you know that 76% of the US population has read at least one book over the past year? Surprising, isn’t it? Considering how busy most of us are with our daily lives, working a job, taking care of our family, and also getting enough free time to relax.
But still, I find it a great way to spend my free time and I always feel a sense of accomplishment after finishing a good book. What better way to enjoy your free time after working so hard every day than reading a book on something you're interested in?
In celebration of Ascended Presence turning two years old, I'm starting a book club - APC Book Club.
APC Book Club is an online book club where people can come together without actually meeting face-to-face. You can enjoy all the benefits of a book club from the comfort of your home. It is a place where we could come together and share our thoughts and ideas about our favorite books. It is the place where we can share our thoughts on personal development and business. Whether you want to read books that will help you grow as a person, or dive into some of the most influential business publications in the world, the APC book club is the place for you.
With our APC Book Club, you'll be able to connect with mothers who are on the same journey as you, whether they're right around the corner or across the world. We will post reviews of books that we think are worth reading and that you may want to consider sharing.
I'm excited to launch this book club, and I hope you'll be excited to join us!
On April 21st, 2022 will be our APC Book Club Launch. In honor of Earth Day on April 21st, we'll be reading All We Can Save.
All We Can Save is a book you're going to want to talk about, so I hope you'll not just read this inspiring anthology but also take a moment to share it with your friends, family, and community.
Activists and writers from across the United States and beyond have come together in this book to share their stories and words of wisdom about using our collective power and creativity to respond to the climate crisis. They've written about how to find joy, hope, and meaning in this work—and how we can work together across identity, culture, politics, and place for climate justice.
The book is an invitation for all of us who love the earth and care deeply about our future—to join in.
Sometimes, we don't take action because we feel like what we do won't make a difference. But All We Can Save will inspire you to act—and it also gives practical guidance on where and how to get started.

This experience was literally one of the most stressful of my life! And that is saying a LOT given I’d already overcome years of infertility trying to get these amazing kids, survived cancer while completing grad school, and moved internationally three times in two years.
